Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Nigeria for Namibia to represent President Bola Tinubu at the state funeral for Namibia’s founding President, late Samuel Shafiishuna Daniel Nujoma.
Vice President Shettima will join other leaders across Africa and beyond to pay their last respects to the late President at a state burial on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Heroes’ Acre in Windhoek, Namibia.
