Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni, has led a group of Islamic clerics to pray for God’s punishment upon the Boko Haram terrorist group vandalising power infrastructure in the state.

This happened after the state government had reportedly repaired 330 KVA tower, which was initially destroyed by the terrorists near Kasaisa village in the Gujba LGA of the state.

According to Zagazola Makama, an independent counter-insurgency expert, cows were sacrificed after the prayers for Allah to punish the terrorist group, which has incessantly destroyed electricity towers in different parts of the state.

This is the third time the Boko Haram terrorist group was reported to have destroyed power infrastructure serving electricity distribution within and outside the state.
