According to a spokesperson from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aircraft, identified as a SOCATA TBM7, went down just before 12:30pm in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

“We do not yet know how many people were on board,” the FAA stated, adding that both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are actively investigating the crash.

The aircraft had taken off from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was en route to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis at the time of the incident.

Dramatic video footage captured the aftermath, showing the home engulfed in flames as firefighters worked to contain the blaze. Authorities were yet to confirm any casualties or injuries from the accident.
