Police Arrest 2 For Allegedly Killing Teenager In Bauchi

Operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command have arrested two suspects at the Bayan-Gari area of Bauchi metropolis over their alleged involvement in the murder of an 18-year-old Adamu Alkasim, a resident of Kofar-Dumi.

The suspects include a 20-year-old Usman Shehu who is also known as Babayaro, and 19-year-old Abdullahi Abubakar.

Spokesperson of the Bauchi Police Command, SP Ahmed Wakil confirmed their arrests in a statement made available to reporters in Bauchi.

He said the suspects were apprehended for criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide. “Shehu and four others allegedly attacked and killed Alkasim,” he said.

SP Wakil explained that operatives were still on the trail of the remaining suspects and urged the public to provide any useful information for their arrest.

He added that the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigation.
