Police Arrest 49 ‘Shila’ Gang Members In Adamawa

Police have confirmed the arrest of 49 ‘Shila’ gangsters at various black spots, within Adamawa State capital, Yola.

Among those arrested are two female members of the group, who specialise in terrorising innocent citizens.

State police image maker, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said the command’s recent operation led to the arrest of the suspects.

Nguroje said, the criminals who carry out their operations with dangerous weapons, were arrested at Geriyo Junction, Doubeli Junction, Jambutu Aso Rock, Behind Ramat College, and Total Flyover black spots in the state.
