Operatives of Kaduna Police Command attached to the Commissioner of Police Monitoring Unit acting on credible intel have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK47 rifle.
The said suspect, a certain 35 years old Adamu Shuaibu of Dumale village in Jere L.G.A. of Kaduna State is said to be a member of bandits’ group terrorising villages within and around Jere L.G.A.

A statement issued by the spokesperson of the command ASP Munsur Hassan said discreet investigation is still ongoing as concerted efforts are being made in order to arrest the other members of his gang, adding that the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.

Meanwhile, he said, the commissioner of police Kaduna State Command, CP A.D. Ali has applauded the operatives of the monitoring unit and reiterated his stands on denying criminal elements in the state any operating space.

The CP solicited for maximum support in terms of credible information from members of the public on suspicious characters in their area for prompt response.
