The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Airwing, CP Nwogoh Martin, has urged officers and personnel of the unit to uphold discipline, professionalism and dedication to duty as the Nigeria Police Force strengthens its operational capacity.
Addressing personnel recently, Martin called on officers to maintain the highest standards of conduct in the discharge of their responsibilities, stressing that professionalism, integrity and teamwork remain essential to effective service delivery and sustaining public confidence in the Force.
He urged personnel to remain committed to excellence, adaptable and prepared to tackle emerging security challenges with diligence and competence.
The commissioner also congratulated the Force Drone Commander, CSP Omolere Adejoke, on receiving the International Public Service Award in London.
Adejoke was honoured by the Global Leaders and Business Awards (GLBA) for her contributions to public service, leadership and the application of technology in policing.
Martin described the recognition as well deserved, commending the officer for her outstanding service and commitment to advancing the operational capabilities of the Police Airwing.
Responding to the honour, Adejoke dedicated the award to members of her team and colleagues in the Police Airwing, describing it as a collective achievement.
“This award isn’t mine alone. It belongs to every member of my team whose commitment, professionalism and support have shaped this journey. It also belongs to every officer in the Airwing who continues to embrace innovation as we strengthen the Nigeria Police Force’s air capability,” she said.
