A 23-year-old Hashimu Sani who is said to be a drug addict has been apprehended by the police for allegedly stabbing his friend, Musa Bala to death in Kotonkoro, Mariga local government area of Niger State.
LEADERSHIP gathered that Sani, in what started like a drama, threatened to stab Bala and before people could intervene, he stabbed the victim.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Niger State Police Command, Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
Abiodun revealed that the suspect is now with the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
