Police operatives have recovered two stolen vehicles and arrested Musa Suleh for allegedly stealing them.

SP Suleiman Yahaya, police image maker in Yobe State said the breakthrough in its fight against crime was made possible by police operatives led by DPO Yola Division, who acted on credible intelligence and arrested  Suleh of  Hong LGA, for having vehicles suspected to be stolen.

The suspect was apprehended at Jambutu Motor Park, Yola North LGA.

The suspect confessed to stealing a Toyota Starlet, with registration number YLA-420 belonging to one Babawo Abubakar of Ngurore, Yola South LGA. The vehicle has since been recovered.

Another Toyota Starlet, green in colour, with number plate JAL-861 CL was equally found in his possession with no single document or proof of ownership to justify ownership of the vehicle.

The state commissioner of police Dankombo Morris  directed that the case be transferred to State CID for further investigation to uncover the vehicle’s source.
