A 100-level student of Taraba State Polytechnic, Saanmoyol Paul, was on Wednesday electrocuted while flying a flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) along Roadblock to ATC Road in Jalingo, the state capital.
Paul, alongside tens of youths were flying the party’s flags to demonstrate the presence of the party during the visit of President Bola Tinubu to the state.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the flag held by Saamoyor which had iron handle touched an electrical wire leading to his being electrocuted.
Speaking with newsmen at Gilead Hospital Magami in Jalingo, the victim who struggled to speak, appealed to the state government to come to his aid and relocate him from the hospital.
Saamoyor lamented that his condition was worsening since he was brought to the facility.
Those attending to Paul in the hospital also disclosed that he was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition after the incident.
