The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, has welcomed the institution’s fourth substantive registrar, Mr Joseph Adebayo Fadeji.
The reception, which was held at the school’s 1,500-capacity Multipurpose Auditorium, attracted dignitaries from within and outside the institution, including members of management, deans, directors, heads of departments, divisions and units, registry staff, family members of the new registrar, as well as well-wishers from the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Osun State.
In a statement by the deputy registrar, Information, Protocol & Passages, Sanmi Enigbokan, said the rector, Dr Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, who was represented by the deputy rector, Dr Samson Adehuga Omogbehin, described the occasion as the beginning of a new chapter and an opportunity for the school to extend its hands of fellowship, goodwill and support to the new registrar, Mr Joseph Adebayo Fadeji.
He encouraged the new registrar to deploy his wealth of experience and expertise towards achieving the Institution’s collective objective and building a stronger, more effective, innovative, and respected Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji.
While recognising the weight of responsibility that comes with the office of the Registrar, the rector stressed the importance of teamwork and collective commitment to achieving the Institution’s goals. He expressed confidence in Mr Fadeji’s wealth of experience, administrative competence, professionalism and commitment to service, noting that these qualities would enable him to make meaningful contributions to the continued growth and development of the Institution.
The rector also assured the new Registrar of Management’s support and cooperation, while calling on members of staff to extend the necessary cooperation and support to him for the successful discharge of his responsibilities.
Responding, Mr Fadeji expressed his appreciation to the Governing Council for his appointment and to the Management, Staff and Students of the Polytechnic for the warm reception accorded him. He pledged to contribute his quota to the continued progress and development of the Institution.
