Presco Lauds 2024 Staff’s Performance, Explains 2025 Agenda

Leading integrated oil palm producer in Nigeria, Presco Plc, has commended staff of the company for their professionalism and dedication this year despite various challenges.

Speaking at the 2024 end of year party held at the weekend in Benin, Edo State, managing director/chief executive officer, Presco Plc, Reji George, described the company’s staff as great assets responsible for the exceptional achievements attained in the outgoing year.

The managing director also thanked shareholders, customers, chairman of Presco Plc, Olakanmi Rasheed Sarumi, group chief executive officer, Felix Nwabuko and other stakeholders for their contributions to the growth recorded in 2024.

The event was also an opportunity for the company to honour outstanding staff with Adaramoye Israel Opeyemi emerging overall best staff for 2024.

He enjoined staff to sustain their momentum in 2025 with renewed energy and enthusiasm, adding that Presco Plc aims to capitalise on new opportunities as a team, striving for excellence and progress across all areas of operation.

According to the managing director, staff resilience in 2024 led to record-breaking production levels within the year, the highest in the company’s history.

Making reference to the new mill at Ato Estate, the managing director projected its completion by 2025. He praised the contributions of the production, processing, and sales departments for their critical roles in achieving the 2024 targets, while also recognising the support and efforts of other departments in reaching the company’s milestones.

He expressed gratitude to Presco’s shareholders, partners, and the communities they serve for their ongoing support. He specifically commended the chairman for his efforts in promoting shared prosperity among all employees of the organisation. Looking ahead, he highlighted the company’s significant expansion plans for 2025, aligning with its long-term strategy and vision for growth.

The MD reiterated the company’s strong focus and confidence in achieving its goals, affirming that Presco is firmly on the path to reaching its desired position. He congratulated all stakeholders on the year’s accomplishments and extended his best wishes for a joyous Christmas and prosperous New Year.
