The Presidency has confirmed the appointment of Rotimi Richard Pedro as the new Director-General of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
A statement issued by the Presidency on Wednesday also announced the appointment of Karimah Bello from Katsina State (North-West) as the Executive Director of Marketing and Stella Din from Plateau State (North-Central), as the new Executive Director of News.
The statement disclosed the assumption of office of Sophia Issa Mohammed from Adamawa State (North-East) as Managing Director, NTA Enterprises Limited.
The statement added that the appointments, which take effect immediately, reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening national broadcasting as a platform for unity, cohesion, and soft diplomacy.
