Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shown they are still on good terms with Netflix after attending a big party hosted by the company’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos.
The couple joined other famous guests at a special event for the TV show Beef at a private home in Montecito. This visit comes after many people started talking about a possible beef or disagreement between the royal couple and the streaming company.
For some time now, there have been rumours that Netflix leaders were unhappy because some of the couple’s projects were not doing as well as expected. Some reports even claimed that top bosses had stopped following Meghan on social media, leading many to believe their $100 million deal was in trouble.
However, Harry and Meghan appeared very happy at the party. They were seen talking and laughing with Ted Sarandos and his wife, Nicole. Other big stars, like Katy Perry, were also at the event, suggesting the relationship between the Sussexes and Netflix remains strong.
Lawyers for the couple have called the rumours of a fight completely false. They said Meghan and the Netflix boss speak regularly. Netflix also confirmed that it is still working on new shows with the couple, including a documentary about polo and some movie projects.
