Prosecutors in Florida have announced their intention to subpoena the medical records of golf legend Tiger Woods as part of his ongoing driving under the influence (DUI) case.
The State Attorney’s Office in Martin County, Florida, filed an official notice to request documents from the Cleveland Clinic Martin South Hospital in Stuart. Investigators are specifically seeking medical reports, drug screen results, and patient statements regarding alcohol or chemical substance use following his rollover car crash and subsequent arrest.
According to officials, the subpoena is scheduled to be issued on June 30, 2026. Woods’ legal team has until June 25, 2026, to file any formal objections to the request. This development follows a previous unsuccessful attempt by the golfer’s defence team to block prosecutors from accessing his prescription records from a local pharmacy.
The criminal case centres on an incident on March 27, when authorities allege Woods was driving under the influence before crashing his vehicle. Following the accident, the golfer completed two separate stays at a rehabilitation facility in Zurich before returning home to Florida last week.
