The Progressive Students Movement (PSM), a leading Pan-African student organisation, has congratulated Comrade Rex Dio Oghale on his appointment as special assistant to the Delta State Governor on Student Affairs.

The appointment was made by the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, whom PSM described as “students-friendly” and “willingly performing.”

The movement congratulated Governor Oborevwori on his recognition as Governor of the Year by THISDAY/ARISE TV.

In a statement signed by PSM’s national director of political affairs, Comrade Hon. Atunnise Olamide Tobiloba, the group commended the governor for appointing a capable and experienced individual like Comrade Oghale.

“We salute and sincerely appreciate His Excellency for finding Comrade Dio worthy of this well-deserved appointment. His unwavering commitment to national development, as demonstrated in his previous roles within the students’ constituency, proves that the governor has chosen a highly qualified compatriot for this role,” the statement read.

The organisation called on Oghale to remain committed to his new responsibilities, ensuring the welfare of Nigerian students in Delta State and beyond while promoting Governor Oborevwori’s achievements.
