A non-governmental organisation, Global Youth Skills and Poverty Eradication Organisation (GYSAPEO), has tasked Muslim faithful to pray for Nigeria in this Holy Month of Ramadan.

The organisation in a statement yesterday signed by the chairman, Chuks Emmanuel said there was no better time for Muslims to pray for the country.

“The leadership of Global Youth Skills and Poverty Eradication Organisation (GYSAPEO), aligns with Muslim faithful in this Holy Month of Ramadan.

“It is a holy month that all and sundry should participate devotedly for our spiritual sanctification.

“Part of the expectation is for us to pray for Nigeria, assist the poor, visit the sick, and collectively salvage the country from insecurity and hardship.

“Also, let us consider the youth in the decision-making of the country, especially those who are able-bodied and willing to go into agriculture.”

He said the organisation will continue to champion the needs of the youths and nudge them to be part of economic prosperity.
