American rapper Marshall Mathers, famously known as Eminen, is now a grandfather as his daughter Hailie Jade announced she and her husband Evan McClintock have welcomed their first baby, a boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote, “Happy due date,”featuring a photo revealing their son arrived in mid-March, “3 weeks earthside little e.”
The news comes six months after Hailie shared the big announcement in her dad’s music video for his song “Temporary,” featuring Skylar Grey.
The emotional track, which was dedicated to Hailie, was released as part of the 15-time Grammy winner’s Death of Slim Shady album on July 13.
The heartfelt music video showed adorable home videos of Hailie as a toddler while Eminem rapped about how even after he dies, he’ll always be there for his little girl.
At the end of the video, 28-year-old Hailie sat beside her musician dad and handed him a Detroit Lions jersey with “#1 Grandpa” on the back, as well as a sonogram of her growing baby. In the music video, Eminem was visibly shocked as he turned toward the camera with his jaw open.
The music video also featured never-seen-before- footage of Hailie’s May 2024 wedding to Evan, showing the 51-year-old wiping tears away as he gets a first look at the bride before walking her down the aisle.
