Brittni Mealy, the ex-girlfriend of American rapper Future, has asked a court to send the music star to jail for failing to comply with a court order regarding their 12-year-old son, Prince.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Mealy claimed that the rapper has failed to provide a $500,000 life insurance policy as ordered by a judge in 2023.

According to the agreement, Mealy is supposed to be the trustee of the policy for their son’s benefit.

Because of this, Mealy is asking the court to hold the rapper in contempt. She wants the judge to keep him in jail until he shows proof that he has secured the insurance policy.

This legal battle follows a 2023 ruling that increased Future’s child support payments from $3,000 to $5,000 per month.
