Nigerian rapper and singer Odumodublvck, popular for his unique ‘Okpoproko’ rhythms, has said he is ready to settle things with colleague Blaqbonez only if the artiste apologises to him face-to-face.
The “Wotowoto”, “Blood on the dance floor” singer, has made it known that he is not ruling out the possibility of reconciling with his estranged colleague, Blaqbonez, during a recent podcast interview.
Highlighting that his Christian background makes him capable of forgiveness. Saying that forgiveness requires a “contrite heart.”
Odumodublvck also explained that Blaqbonez has yet to personally approach him for forgiveness, alleging that his colleague has been sending respected industry figures to intervene rather than bring himself to apologise.
“My rift with Blaqbonez is personal. But I won’t rule out the possibility of reconciliation because there is nothing God can’t forgive. However, you can only forgive a contrite heart,” he noted.
“You are sending big artists to come and beg me, but because you want to maintain a social image, you don’t want to apologise even in private because you feel I would expose you if you do.
“Real men don’t behave like that. I can’t possibly post someone’s apology online. If you can’t humble yourself, you will be stunted,” the rapper said.
The rapper has stated firmly that the quarrel, which started last year, was more than a rap squabble. He accused Blaqbonez of trying to downplay it to a hip-hop rift by releasing diss tracks targeted at him.
