Real Madrid have submitted an official written bid worth £85million (£75m fixed + £10m add-ons) for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, according to Sky Germany.
The offer matches the £85m proposal previously tabled by Liverpool, both of which have been rejected by the Bundesliga club.
Leipzig have made it clear that even €100m is insufficient to sanction the sale of the Ivory Coast international.
Paris Saint-Germain have not yet made a formal bid, but club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has held direct contact with Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff regarding the player.
Diomande has already agreed personal terms with PSG on a contract running until 2031 and is understood to be keen on the move.
However, Leipzig will only entertain a significant fee, and sources indicate that if Real Madrid return with an improved second offer, PSG’s position could become severely compromised.
