The member representing Fika/Fune Federal Constituency of Yobe State, Hon Mohammed Buba Jajere, has condemned the robbery attack in Ngalda in Fika local government area of Yobe State.
He said he visited Ngalda town to condole with the families of the seven residents killed by armed robbers at Ngalda Market.
According to him, the tragic attack is a call for urgent action. “I strongly condemn this senseless violence and urge security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice,” he said.
He called on the government to consider deployment of more security personnel to check insecurity in the affected areas of the state.
Hon Jajere made the appeal when he paid a condolence visit to the affected area at the weekend, saying armed robbers and other criminal activities were on rampage in the area.
Jajere siad he is saddened by the incident, describing the robbery attack and loss of lives as sad and unfortunate.
LEADERSHIP Sunday gathered that the suspected armed robbers simultaneously invaded the village killing about seven traders and destroyed some building during the attack.
