Rep Tafoki Doles N25m, 3,000 Bags Of Rice To Constituents

Member representing Faskari/Kankara/Sabuwa Federal Constituency of Katsina State, Hon Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki has distributed N25 million and 3000 bags of rice to residents of the Constituency.

Tafoki said the items and cash donation was to assist the Muslim ummah observe this year’s Ramadan Fast with relative ease.

Speaking during the formal flagoff of the distribution exercise, Katsina State governor, Umar Dikko Radda lauded the Lawmaker for consistently assisting his constituents.

 

Radda said Tafoki stood out for upholding the tenets of shared social responsibilities and ‘doing all it takes to improve the welfare of the good people of Faskari/Sabuwa/Kankara federal constituency’.

Governor Radda who was represented by Special Adviser on Political Matters, Rt Hon Yau Umar Gojogojo, urged other politicians and philanthropist to emulate Hon Tafoki’s gesture.

“Only recently, the lawmaker empowered farmers and others with agro-allied equipment and items including vehicles, tractors as well as welding, sowing and grinding machines. He is here again doing the state and it’s people proud by demonstrating effective representation” he said.

For his part, APC chairman in the state who spoke through the Sourthern Zonal Vice Chairman, Ibrahim Danjuma Malumfashi, said people of Faskari/Kankara/Sabuwa Federal Constituency are lucky to have a good representative.

“Tafoki is a compassionate Lawmaker who is committed to welfare and wellbeing of the people. The APC is happy with him for promoting political cohesion and guaranteeing peaceful coexistence among party members and indeed, the entire citizens”.
