The member representing Fune/Fika federal constituency of Yobe State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Muhammad Buba Jajere, has congratulated Nigerians for witnessing the country’s 65th Independence anniversary.
Jajere, in his goodwill messages, said Nigeria has come a long way and overcome many challenges in the past 65 years, noting that “things are going to get better.”
The lawmaker said Nigeria is on a path to greatness and will not turn back, no matter the obstacles.
He commended the Speaker Tajudeen Abbas for his pragmatic leadership, which he said, had resulted in remarkable accomplishments since his assumption of office.
“We have remained steadfast and united as one people, a testament to our resilience. Increased youth inclusion in politics will bring about the dividends of democracy,” Jajere said.
He said the day is significant in the nation’s history as it represents freedom, unity and the people’s will to live together in peace and harmony.
Jajere said the anniversary should serve as a moment of reflection and renewed commitment towards national growth and development.
