A resident of Tagali, Bade local government Mallam Kakdu Kafayo, said the 10km Chumbusko – Tagali road had made life easier for them.

According to him, ” Before the provision of the road, we could hardly transport our farm produce to various markets within and outside the state.

“Now we are happy to be connected to the other part of the state.”

The village head of Chukuriwa, Alhaji Mihammadu Chukuriwa, also commended Govenor Buni for the 16.5km Dawasa, Chukuriwa, and Kukuri road.

He said the road has linked several villages along the route with major town of Potiskum.

He added that the people of the three communities will remain grateful to the commissioner for Works, who had facilitated the project.

LEADERSHIP learnt that one of the projects had taken decades before its actualisation. That is why it is a very historic occasion and a legacy to this administration.
