At the ceremony held at Christian Central Chapel International CCCI World Headquarters Ikot Ene Obong 8miles, Càlabar yesterday, the presiding Bishop of Kingdom Power Chapel Elposo, Texas USA, Bishop Paul Vincent, urged the bishop-elect to see the elevation as a height that comes with new responsibilities of propagating God’s word at all times.

In his exhortation from Gen 11: 31-32 to prepare her for the task ahead, the cleric urged Isong’s wife not to allow whatever success she may have achieved in the past to enter her brain so that her destiny would not be hindered.

“Preach the truth, don’t be like others who will turn away the truth. I pray God to help you, as you enter a new season and phase,” he said.

The officiating minister also charged the bishop-elect not to be displeased over her failures in life but to be hopeful that she will discharge the responsibilities of the office.

“Like Apostle Peter who failed in ministry and quit only to return to fishing, which was his old trade.

“Like Abraham, forget your past success and move on. You have just entered into a new dimension of Glory. God will fastrack a new path of success,” the cleric said.

A citation of the bishop-elect displayed on the mega screen at the church auditorium and sighted by our correspondent revealed that lady pastor Helen Emmah Isong was a preacher of the gospel of Christ, author, retired magistrate, and mother of three, born in Eket Akwa Ibom State.

The retired magistrate began her educational career with African Church Princess Girls’ School, Lagos, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate and later enrolled for her General Certification for Education (GCE), with Our Lady of Apostle Secondary School and Queens College, Lagos.
She proceeded to River State University of Science and Technology (RUST) and obtained a B.Sc in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry Option).

Her thirst for knowledge propelled her to seek admission to pursue a postgraduate diploma in Education at the University of Calabar. Upon completion of the diploma programme, she sought another opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree and a Masters’ Degree in Policy and Administrative Studies.

However, in 2013, she was admitted to the University of London and again obtained another Postgraduate Certificate in Law (International Dispute Resolution). In 2018, she bagged another Postgraduate Diploma in Law and a Master of Law (LLM) Degree.

The retired magistrate turned-bishop is the administrator and legal adviser at Christian Central Chapel International, Calabar, Nigeria.
