Rex Insurance Assures Prompt Claims Settlement of Policyholders

Rex Insurance Limited (Rex) has assured its stakeholders that it will continue to prioritise prompt claims payment of its policyholders who suffered insured risks.

Speaking at the February Edition of the Members’ Evening of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) in Yaba, Lagos recently, the managing director/chief executive, Rex Insurance Limited, Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu stated that,, “we have strengthened our internal structures to ensure that claims are handled with speed because we realise that this is the main reason we are in business, and we will ensure it is sustained.”

She added that the human capital structure of the company has also been beefed up with the recent appointment of the executive director, Technical, among others, who are already adding value to its operations and systems, for the benefit of its esteemed customers. Disclosing that the insurer has also increased its capacity to do more volume businesses as evidenced by the increase in its reinsurance treaty across all classes of business, she added that Rex Insurance is well capitalised, has a robust balance sheet , calling for partnership of the brokerage fraternity.

Earlier, the president of NCRIB, Prince Babatunde Oguntade lauded the insurance firm as a financially strong, reliable and trustworthy firm worthy of patronage and support of the broker community in Nigeria.

He assured the company of the patronage of registered insurance brokers who scattered across States of the federation. He stated that the unwavering support and commitment of Rex Insurance to the industry aligns seamlessly with their mission to elevate the standards of professionalism within the insurance sector.

Similarly, the executive secretary of NCRIB, Tope Adaramola noted that, it’s very symbolic that Rex is sponsoring the first members evening of the year, as the company is indeed the first insurance company in Nigeria.
