The police have confirmed the killing of a lady in her early 20s (name withheld) in a hotel in Adamawa State.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the spokesperson for the command, confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday in Yola.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the ritualist lodged the deceased in a hotel, had sexual intercourse with her before beheading her, and pretended to buy toilet tissue outside the hotel premises, leaving with the head of the young lady.

After waiting for a long period without the ritualist returning to the hotel, the receptionist and other staff checked into his room and discovered the headless corpse of the young lady in a pool of her blood.
