Romantic Comedy Maia, To Premiere Nov 13 In Abuja

Maia, a romantic comedy-drama will premiere in Abuja on November 13, 2022 at the Orisun Art Source and Gallery.

The Take 7 Media Production and Sutoritera Limited film tells a story of love and the lengths people go to find it. It follows the life of Maia and her journey to undo a curse placed on her from youth with often hilarious and heartbreaking consequences as she struggles to juggle a successful florist business and healthy love life.

Maia is written and produced by screenwriter, film director and founder of Sutoritera Limited, Emil Garuba, and directed by Take 7 Media Production CEO, Bem Pever, and features cast as Ego Nwosu, Mofe Duncan, Ekemini Jane, Doris Nwankwo, Preach Bassey among others.

It is the second collaborative feature length film project of Pever and Garuba to premiere this year, the earlier being Take 7 Media’s documentary E.E Zuzu: A Life of Songs which premiered on October 29, 2022.
