According to him, the Speaker without recourse to the service rules has been operating the commission like a unit of the Assembly.

‘’For instance he said the speaker, appointed Mr Onafeko on GL- 15 as Clerk of the House whereas, to be appointed as a clerk of the house knowing fully well that it is only, a full Director on GL-17 that can be so appointed just as another woman, Mrs Latona on GL-15 was appointed secretary of the commission,’’.

He described the appointments as one of the few unilateral actions taken by the speaker to obstruct the activities of the Commission adding that any attempt to advise the speaker is seen as an affront.
