The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I Jibrin, has observed the Eid-El-Kabir congregational prayers in Kabo, his hometown, in Kabo LGA of Kano North Senatorial District.

Senator Barau, after the Eid prayers amid thousands of Muslim ummah, urged the people to continue to pray and support President Bola Tinubu, adding that he meant well for the country.

The Chief Imam of Kabo, Sheikh Jafaru Mustapha, led the two-raka’at prayers.

In line with the teachings of Islam, the Deputy Senate President urged the ummah to use the period to pray for the nation and to also give support to President Tinubu, who is trying day in, and day out to make sure he brings prosperity to the nation, to make the country an Eldorado.

Earlier, the chief imam, in his sermon, admonished the people to adhere religiously to the teachings of the season.

The cleric urged the ummah to continue to pray for leaders and always support them to succeed in addressing the challenges facing our country.
