Sanwo-Olu Felicitates Oba Animashaum At 80

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, congratulated Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, the Oloja of Epe Land and Paramount Ruler of Epe Division, on his 80th birthday.

Governor Sanwo-Olu lauded the traditional ruler, who he described as a pillar of unity for the people and a strong supporter of his administration’s policies aimed at improving the lives of Lagosians.

He said, “Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun has blessed our government with wise counsel and divine wisdom in many respects. His counselling goes beyond the affairs of his subjects in Epe Land as it covers issues that affect other parts of the state.

“Oba Animashaun’s life of service to his people, always pushing for the progress, development, justice and fairness in his kingdom and Lagos State as a whole, will remain indelible in the hearts of every Epe indigene both home and the diaspora forever.”

Governor Sanwo-Olu prayed for the traditional ruler of Epe, asking God to grant him a longer life, sound health and more wisdom to successfully direct the affairs of his kingdom.

“As you celebrate your 80th birthday, my family and I join your family, friends and associates, as well as the people of Epe Land and Lagos State in general, to wish you a birthday, longer life, stronger health and more wisdom to continue to direct the affairs of your subjects and contribute more towards the development of our dear State. May you never know better yesterday,” he said.
