Receiving the singer, the Deputy President of the Senate, described his joining of the APC as a welcome development.

“As a young and talented artist, Ali Jita will bring his experience and expertise to the party, which will pave the way for the development of the music and the entire Kennywood industry.”

I welcome you to the largest party. You are welcome on board,” he said.

“I was dragged to the Kwankwasiyya Movement by its leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. But today, I have dropped my red cap; I am no longer in the red cap movement. I am now a full fledge member of the APC. I want to assure you that I will use all my ability and talent to contribute to this journey. This is my house now and APC is my party. We will work for it success going forward,” he said.
