The Senator representing Kogi Central in the Senate, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has said that she was set to break her silence over her recent face-off with Senate President Godswill Akpabio and ‘a lot of occurrences’ in the Senate.

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan disclosed this on her verified Facebook page on Thursday morning in reaction to a petition written against her by a Northern youth group, addressed to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions.

LEADERSHIP recalls that earlier on Tuesday, the Kogi Central Senator was referred to the same legislative committee by the Senate following her face-off with the Senate President over a seating arrangement in the Red Chamber last week.

However, reacting to the developments, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan said she was ready to face the probe and asked Nigerians to join her, adding that she would insist that the event be covered live on TV stations.

The female lawmaker wrote: “Good morning courageous people of Kogi central, Kogi state and Nigeria.

“This petition came to my notice a few hours ago.

“In as much as I have refrained from publicly speaking on the matter and a lot of occurrences at the Senate under Senate President Akpabio, it’s about time I break my silence.
