The senator who was represented at the event by Hon Timothy Jiya said the programme was initiated with a view to providing farmers with the tools needed to succeed in agricultural production.

He, therefore, urged the beneficiaries to utilize the tools and see it as an initiative that is targeted at boosting their economic growth and the nation’s well-being.

In his remarks, chairman of the occasion, Hon. Ndako Kpaki charged the beneficiaries against the sale of the items, adding that the working tools are good for the growth of agribusiness and not for sale.

Speaking on behalf of the PDP chairmen in the zone, Alhaji Baaman Baddegi, he urged beneficiaries to use the opportunity to tackle some of the challenges faced by farmers during the dry season farming.
