The incident occurred on the training pitch yesterday morning, when Olowookere reportedly suffered cardiac arrest and collapsed.

Salami, who spoke to NAN, said the coach had no known health issues, speculating that an undiagnosed condition may have contributed to the tragic event.

“It is extremely sad for the 3SC family, the Oyo State government, myself, the coaching staff, and the fans,” he stated. The chairman extended his condolences to the immediate family of the coach, the Oyo State government, and football enthusiasts across the country, describing Olowookere’s demise as a significant loss to both the club and the sport as a whole.
