New details have been released in the case against singer D4vd, who is accused of killing a 14-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas.
On Monday, prosecutors in Los Angeles revealed that Celeste was allegedly killed with a “sharp instrument.” According to the court documents, D4vd killed her in April 2025 and later tried to hide the body. Police believe the victim’s remains were kept in the singer’s car for four months before they were found.
The District Attorney, Nathan Hochman, claimed that D4vd killed the teenager because she threatened to expose a secret relationship they had. The prosecutor said the singer wanted to “preserve his career” by keeping her quiet.
D4vd is now facing several very serious charges, including:
First-degree murder.
Mutilating a body.
Illegal acts with a minor.
The singer was arrested last Thursday by the LAPD. While the evidence against him is growing, D4vd’s lawyers have told the public that he is not responsible for the girl’s death.
