During a Tech press question and answer session in Lagos, realme’s head of marketing in Nigeria, Antonio Ran, unveiled the company’s flagship smartphone, the realme Note 50,

“Our goal is to popularize advanced technology for all Nigerians, especially the younger generation. We’re offering AI capabilities, fast charging, long battery life, and exceptional cameras, all packed into affordable devices for the Nigerian market,” he stated.

realme’s head of sales in Nigeria, Olamide Kaka, reinforced the brand’s strategy of focusing on younger customers who have struggled to find affordable, high-quality phones. “Nigeria has a large youth population eager for good products, but many phones are either too expensive or don’t meet expectations. realme is here to change that,” Kaka said.

realme’s digital marketing lead, Yusuf Adebari, added that realme’s software durability sets it apart from other Chinese brands, adding that, “realme is not just a phone you’ll use for two years before it starts failing. Our devices are designed to last longer, with better software and hardware integration. For instance, realme’s Note 50 stands out with features such as a fast charger, enhanced camera quality, and water-resistant design. With plans to establish service centers across the country, i can assure customers of reliable after-sales support, though the durable design would limit repair needs.”

realme’s competitive edge lies in features like fast charging, water resistance, and an AI-enhanced camera, all packed into the Note 50. With realme aiming to double its market share in Nigeria by mid-2025, the competition between Chinese brands is expected to intensify, offering Nigerian consumers a wider range of affordable and high-quality smartphone options.

By bridging the affordability gap, realme empowers individuals and businesses to thrive in today’s digital landscape. The realme Note 50 is more than just a smartphone – it’s a key to unlocking opportunities, connecting with customers, and accessing vital information.
