Sokoto United Face Arewa Pillars In President Federation Cup Semifinals

Following the successful conduct of the draws, the 2025 Sokoto State President Federation Cup begins on February 18, with the first semi final clash between defending champion, Sokoto United versus Arewa Pillars.

Only four teams, Sokoto United FC, Arewa Pillars, Jedo Academy, and Sokoto North FC, will do battle from the semi final stage, due to the number of registered teams.

After the Sokoto United versus Arewa Pillars opener, Jedo Academy and Sokoto North FC will lock horns on Wednesday, February 19, to determine the second finalist.

Winners of the two semi finals to be decided at the Giginya stadium, automatically qualifies as Sokoto state representatives for the national finals.

The draws were conducted by the Sokoto State Football Association, led by Murtala Muhammad Abubakar a board member, who represented the FA Chairman.

The acting secretary, Bashar Hassan, and board member Abdulmajid Ahmed were also present.
