The initiative is being brought to Nigeria by Vertex Next, a subsidiary of Vertex Group, which is rated as Asia’s greatest conference and exhibition platform. The event will be combined with ‘IoT West Africa’ scheduled for July 4 to July 6, 2023 in Lagos to get the desired result.

The organisers said the exhibition will hold at Landmark Centre, Lagos. The organisers said the exhibition and conference would unfold growing technologies for the power utility sector; incorporate discussions and seminars with industry leaders, workshops, and networking events.

It will feature reputed speakers, businesses, and advisory members of councils who will represent their businesses and opportunities for the future of the power and water sectors. With the growing emphasis on sustainability, the event will contribute to the growth of the Nigerian power utility sector, benefiting the stakeholders as well.

Reacting to the announcement of the conference and exhibition, a key player in the industry, Mr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, said, “Embracing the IoT, West Africa pioneers a connected future where tradition meets innovation, thereby creating job opportunities, empowering communities, and forging a path to prosperity for the entire sub-region.”
