A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Samuel Bello, has urged the governor-elect and deputy governor-elect of Edo State,

Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa to steer clear of divisive politics and prioritising the needs of the people.

Bello, a grassroot mobiliser in Akoko-Edo area of Edo State,  stated this while felicitating with Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa on their election as governor-elect and deputy governor-elect of Edo State, respectively.

In his congratulatory message  yesterday, the APC chieftain expressed gratitude to the people of Edo State for choosing ‘light over darkness’, saying he is confident the incoming administration would bring tangible development to the state.

He however emphasised the importance of delivering visible infrastructure projects to truly uplift the lives of the Edo people and urged the incoming Governor to steer clear of divisive politics, but focus on prioritizing the needs of the people.
