A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Nwachukwu Stanislaus Anayochukwu, has advised the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Ajuri Obari Ngelale, to stop reacting negatively to harmless comments.

Anayochukwu was reacting to a recent comment on social media handles of the presidential spokesman distancing him from a congratulatory message written to President Bola Tinubu for appointing him as one of his aides.

Anayochukwu advised Ngelale to, instead, draw people to the government by not responding to harmless comments about him.

He said the message itself did not contain any harmless content that deserved such type of response, adding that the G37 Group, a support group, was merely showing him that they were happy with his appointment by the president.

The APC leader who is also the deputy national coordinator of the group in the South East said the G37 worked and believed in the success of President Tinubu.

He explained that the group was part of every campaign carried out for the victory of the APC in the country and has been supportive of the laudable policies and projects embarked on so far by the president.

Anayochukwu said politics is a game of numbers, adding that it is better to bind together than to scatter.
