Yakubu who marks the fourth day of the payers today, said the initiative springs from “love, respect, and political admiration” for the vice president, adding that the prayers are meant to seek Allah’s guidance and protection for the VP in both his personal and political life.

“This is the third day, and tomorrow, Monday (today), by Allah’s grace, we will continue to hold these seven-day prayers every month,” he declared.

Yakubu used the platform to challenge Nigerian youths to replace criticisms with prayers for the country’s leaders, describing prayer as “the weapon of the believer.”

He praised Shettima for his discipline and truthfulness, stressing that his decision reflects political loyalty and spiritual commitment.
