Abdullahi described the timely intervention of the federal government which included evacuation, medical care, warm reception for the refugees and cash gift as highly commendable.

He specifically lauded the roles of NEMA, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, National Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) and Federal Commission for Refugees, pointing -out that such collaborative efforts to achieve common goals is highly commendable.

Abdullahi called on patriotic Nigerians to see Sudan’s military attack and massacre of innocent citizens as example of what could befall any nation that fails to check all forms of political, religious and social recklessness in the society.

He advised Nigerians not to allow anyone or group of people to set them against each other because of their selfish political ambition, adding that, “ most of such negative steps and utterances after leading to chaos, sponsors and perpetrators will flee the country and put the lives of innocent citizens in danger.”
