The NFF has invited 23 players for the twin qualifiers, with the rest of the squad expected to arrive as soon as possible.

Nigeria is set to play Benin Republic on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in their first Group D match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio International before traveling to Kigali three days later to trade tackles with Rwanda for the second round of games.
