Super Eagles Can Still Qualify For 2026 World Cup – Onyeka

Frank Onyeka has insisted that the Super Eagles can still qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup despite the team’s poor run in the qualifiers.

The Super Eagles have won one, drawn four, and lost one of their six games in the qualifying series.
Éric Chelle’s side, who occupy fourth position in Group C, are six points adrift of leaders South Africa.
Onyeka, however, is optimistic they can still turn things around and earn a ticket to the mundial.

“I know we are in a difficult situation, but there’s still a chance for us. We just need to win our next four games and hopefully we can qualify,” the Augsburg midfielder told Oma Sports.

Nigeria will face Rwanda and Zimbabwe when the qualifiers resume in September.
