Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has been selected for the shortlist of the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s XI.
The 26-player shortlist was unveiled on Monday, featuring nominees voted for by players from around the globe.
Alozie was instrumental in Nigeria’s remarkable campaign during the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco, where the team clinched the title. The right-back for Houston Dash scored the decisive goal in the Super Falcons’ semi-final triumph over South Africa, further cementing her place in the Team of the Tournament.
Other defenders who have also been shortlisted include Ona Batlle, Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Olga Carmona, Ellie Carpenter, Alex Greenwood, and Leah Williamson.
The World XI will be announced on Monday, 3 November 2025.
