National chairman of SoS Mandate Group for Tinubu/ Shettima Grassroots Mobilization, Chief Dr Saka Ominiwe Ibraheem, has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to build a new Nigeria that all Nigerians will be proud of.

Speaking with newsmen in Ibadan on the planned protest, he noted that Nigeria was destined to be great, adding that work was underway with organised private sectors working with the federal and state government to create close to one million vocational jobs.

Ominiwe, who is also the president of Educational Legacy College, Ibadan, added that many interventions and infrastructure projects were underway, which would generate millions of jobs for youths and improve people’s lives.

“I deem it necessary to add to the words of wisdom that Protest in any form at this time might be catastrophic and ill-conceived! And it will not do anyone any good.

“Let us be wise and stand by and support Mr President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to build a new Nigeria of our dreams and say NO to unpatriotic People who are hell-bent on destroying our fatherland”, he said.

Giving instances, he said, “In Sudan, because of the hike in the price of bread, they protested, since that time the country has not known peace up till now with unprecedented loss of lives and properties.

“In Kenya, they protested because  of inflation, a lot of damage done to their economy, and now they are regretting it, a lot of investors are fleeing the country now.

“Let us ask ourselves why is it that anytime we are about getting it right in Nigeria that some unpatriotic elements in connivance with their allies will hide under some hidden agenda and terminate our path to prosperity or recovery.

“We all agreed that things are tough, but to every difficulty, there are reliefs. The agitators had put up their demands, and as a responsive president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has responded and started tackling it one by one,
