Audu, who expressed concern over the people’s plight, said Governor Agbu Kefas’s administration would not neglect those forced out of their homes by natural and human disasters.
According to the SEMA boss, the event underscored the government’s commitment to protecting rights and fostering self-reliance for migrants and IDPs.

The coordinator of the Migrants/Refugee Unit, Catholic Diocese of Jalingo, Rev. Fr. Collins Dossa, emphasised the importance of faith and utilising one’s talents for personal and societal betterment.

The programme manager for the Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC), Michael Patrick, guaranteed the protection of migrants’ and refugees’ rights.
