Lagos Hosts MINE Fest 2025

MINE Fest, which stands for Made in Nigeria Entrepreneurs Festival, is a two-day event that puts a spotlight on Nigerian businesses and innovation. Scheduled for October 16 and 17, 2025, the event will take place at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.

It’s organized by Naijapreneur.com and brings together thousands of business leaders, investors, policymakers and brand creators. MINE Fest is designed to promote products and services made in Nigeria while giving business owners a chance to showcase their growth and network with the right people.

This year’s edition will feature over 5,000 attendees, including those from the private and public sectors. It will include the MINE Conference, the MINE Trade Fair and the 40 Under 40 Nigerian CEOs Awards. The event has grown steadily in relevance since it started, becoming a place where real business gets done. It’s not just a platform for show-and-tell, it’s a space where people make long-term connections and create business opportunities that go beyond the festival itself.

Why Lagos Is the Perfect Host City

Lagos is often seen as the commercial center of Nigeria, and that reputation fits well with what MINE Fest stands for. With a large population and active business environment, Lagos is a key city for startups, creative brands and manufacturing. From tech companies in Yaba to designers in Lekki, the city is home to entrepreneurs who are building across different industries.

Landmark Events Centre, the chosen venue for MINE Fest 2025, is based in Victoria Island—a location that’s easily accessible and already popular for large events. Lagos is where many brands start out or expand, and its infrastructure supports both digital and physical business models.

In past years, international investors and local business owners alike have used events in Lagos to connect and scale. MINE Fest fits into that same trend, providing both exposure and access to a growing economy.

Themes and Highlights for 2025

This year’s MINE Fest will focus on innovation, digital business, and policy growth. The lineup is built around practical tools for business owners, with conversations about how Nigerian brands can increase their reach without leaving the country. Sessions will cover local manufacturing, packaging, exports, product design and more.

There’s a strong emphasis on real business support, not just discussion. For instance, the MINE Conference will feature topics like new business registration processes, tax policy improvements and access to micro-investment channels. The Trade Fair will include over 100 brands with working products, from agro-processing to fashion labels.

The 40 Under 40 Nigerian CEOs Awards will also be part of this year’s program, highlighting standout leaders from different sectors. Past winners include founders of food processing startups, logistics platforms, and local cosmetics manufacturers. The mix of practical and policy discussions is what makes the themes this year very results-oriented.

Who’s Attending? Notable Guests and Participants

The festival will bring together a wide mix of business figures, including founders, investors, and public officials. While the final list of speakers is still being confirmed, past editions have featured top executives from manufacturing companies, fintech founders, representatives from SMEDAN, and policymakers from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.

This year, representatives from financial institutions are expected to take part in panel discussions and roundtables, including banks and microfinance groups that focus on SME lending. Well-known entrepreneurs from sectors like local textile production and food processing are also expected to speak and exhibit.

Some of the past attendees have included established names like the CEO of SLOT Systems and founders from the Lagos Leather Fair collective. With its wide draw, MINE Fest has become a networking space where deals are made and contacts are formed without the need for high-level introductions.

What to Expect at the Festival

Attendees can expect a full schedule across both days. The MINE Conference will feature talks on marketing, supply chains, packaging, tech integration and cross-border business. At the MINE Trade Fair, brands will display products ranging from skincare lines to snacks made from local ingredients. These aren’t mock-ups but market-ready goods that are already sold in stores or online.

Outside the booths and conference halls, people take time to network in common areas. Many use breaks to test new product samples, swap business cards, or explore services that could support their brand goals. Between panels, there are also spaces for more relaxed moments.

Some festival goers pass time at nearby lounges or vendor stalls, where they might try local food or even play online slots using their phones or tablets. It’s part of the casual flow that balances out the formal business side of the event. Evening sessions often include live interviews or product demos, keeping the energy consistent through the day.

How MINE Fest Supports Nigerian Entrepreneurs

One of the festival’s main goals is to help local businesses grow through access and visibility. By bringing investors, product designers, policy experts and entrepreneurs into the same space, MINE Fest creates a chance for partnerships that would take much longer to build on their own.

Startups can pitch directly to people who fund businesses or provide consulting. Exhibitors often gain not just new customers, but also supply partners and retail distributors. Many of the sessions are focused on solving common problems like sourcing packaging materials or setting up a digital payment channel.

Workshops on how to pitch for grants or present to international buyers are part of the schedule as well. In past years, some exhibitors have gone on to receive investment or enter distribution deals shortly after the event. The atmosphere is practical and focused on clear goals.

Getting Involved: How to Attend or Exhibit

Anyone interested in attending or showcasing at MINE Fest can register on the official website, minefest.ng. General attendees can sign up for free or paid entry depending on the session access level they want. There are passes for the full conference, trade fair only, or both days with VIP access.

For businesses looking to exhibit, application forms are available on the site, along with clear instructions about booth sizes, requirements and set-up times. The team can also be contacted by email or phone for custom support. The event runs from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on both days and will take place at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island, which has parking, security and Wi-Fi support.

Organizers have stated that booth spaces are already being reserved, so those interested are encouraged to act early. MINE Fest offers a chance not just to show off a product but to meet others working toward similar business goals.
